Mind Body Medicine and pioneer, Deepak Chopra MD

Meditation is now use in sports more today than
in history for ultimate athletic performance.
.
In the time of grave battle on the field, athletes will make decisions they never made before in practice, at a league game or non-league game. If you're a starter you have leadership expectations you may never have asked for... also called growing pains. So what are you going to do? Coaches call it, "step it up" to the next level. Experiencing "positive emotional states" and recalling them at will can be one method. Here's how...meditation. Harnessing our thoughts for results.
.
The mind and body responds to "critical mass" during crisis. Energy is increased several hundred times more than what drugs can provide an athlete. I knew this as an International Weightlifter with the Marines. I knew that I competed against world class athletes taking drugs or steroids. So, there were other ways for me to be just as strong or stronger than my drug induced competitors and often I would beat them. Some of them were even on my own team. I mastered The Mind Body Connection to recall energy for super human performance. The mechanism does not have to be drugs. The Mechanism is You. - Adam la Serna

Deepak Chopra MD

.

One of the world's greatest leaders in the field of Mind Body Medicine.
.

Deepak Chopra, MD, is one of the best known and widely respected leaders in the field of mind/body medicine in the world today. Integrating the ancient Indian science of Ayurveda with traditional Western medicine and with recent discoveries in the field of quantum physics, he forged a holistic approach to healing that has become enormously popular. Visit Dr. Deepak Chopra's blog.
His first book, "Creating Health" was published in 1986. That was the start of his promotion of the idea of the interconnection between mind and body, advocating meditation and self-awareness as primary factors in both illness and healing.
Those themes were expanded upon in his book "Quantum Healing" (1989), where he examined the mysterious phenomenon of spontaneous healing of cancer. Here he introduced quantum physics as a means of understanding the mind-body connection, arguing — as he would in many other books — that consciousness is the basic foundation of nature and the universe.
.

In "Perfect Health" (1991) Chopra authored the first widely read book on Ayurveda, the traditional system of Indian medicine. Besides outlining the Ayurvedic concept of body types which are also called doshas, or prakriti, Chopra emphasizes that the roots of this healing are in creating a holistic balance of mind and body, spirit and environment. The Chopra Center and instructors around the world are now certified to teach the Ayurvedic lifestyle course based on this book called Perfect Health.
Subsequent books have turned toward larger spiritual questions. In "How to Know God" (2000) and "The Book of Secrets" (2004) an argument is made for an all-pervasive intelligence that unites every living thing rather than the traditional Western concept of God as a person, "a venerable white male sitting on a throne in the sky." Chopra sees God as a projection of human awareness who becomes more expansive and universal as individual consciousness expands.
In 2006, his book "Life After Death: The Burden of Proof" extends personal consciousness beyond the "artificial boundary that separates the living from the departed." Assessing the seven varieties of the afterlife espoused in world religions, Chopra offers the startling proposal that a person's awareness in the present shapes existence after death; that is, the afterlife is created uniquely for each of us by our present level of consciousness.

Mind-Body Sports Medicine by Adam LaSerna, Bodycoach Sports

.
Hi Adam,
.
I watched two heavy weights go blow for blow last night...Not a boxing match, a Big League AB. Evan "Almighty" Longoria facing the Red Sox' Pabelbon. Longo is a long-time Heads-up Baseball devotee, having worked with Ken Ravizza when he was at Long Beach State. Now Ken works with him on the Rays. Papelbon is really, really good. The "blow by blow" comes from watching their pre-pitch deep breaths. Both guys went with multiple cheeks-puffedex hales. Like Clemens used to do. It's my favorite exhale style -- you have to relax your face to do it well. Inhale to the belly if you can, then puff your cheeks to exhale. The exhale is where the letting go happens, so stretch it out nice and long. It's nice to even see a little lip flapping, means you're even more relaxed. So the camera showed Longoria with two big exhales as he steps in the box, then cut to Pabelbon doing his funky thing (all bent over, etc), then letting go of a full-cheeked breath. I loved it. Sometimes players are self-conscious about people seeing> them take a breath. But just have them watch for breaths on TV.
They might be blown away by what they see.?
.
Sincerely,
Dr. Tom

"All living beings had to have been a thought. Science tells us matter is seen and unseen. Energy and thought are unseperate forms of matter. In the Beginning teaches mankind that God thought "Creation" and here we are. Are we mechanical beings that think about being or are we thought with a mechanical being? The quiet voice is energy and your mind combined, it's you, your power to use at will. Calling upon it is an art and science which can be taught to just about any person or athlete for amateur and professional competition purposes. Peak Performance Breakthroughs and whats new with Tony Robbins on NBC,

Body and Mind or Mind and Body?
.
by Adam La Serna, Mind body coach
.
In the time of grave battle on the field, athletes will make decisions they never made before in practice, at a league game or non-league game. If you're a starter you have leadership expectations you may never have asked for... also called growing pains. So what are you going to do? Coaches call it, "step it up" to the next level. .
When exhaustion sets in for the business person at the end of a mid-morning conference or an athlete willing himself to leap higher to rebound a basketball in the final seconds of an NBA Championship. Mind-Body medicine plays a key role in the success or failure of both. The choice..."The little Voice" in our mind is more powerful than drugs and it is pure fact.

- coach Adam La Serna

What comes first, when the human body experiences physical changes or when emotions motivates the mind to change or experience States?
Scientists have said for many years, "Mind affects Body and Body affects Mind, they are inseparable."

Deepak Chopra, world renown natural healer, reminds us there is only "one" that we are one with the Mind and the Body and it governs all the human body through endless fields of energy that travels though the body and out to others and throughout the universe as a force.
" I use the "mind-body-universal energy" now and for most of my childhood and competitive sports career with the Marine weightlifting teams as an athlete and now as an Professional Trainer and Sports Coach. The energy is definitely there, my students know it and can feel it. They just don't know about it's reality and identity.

Fact: Our "thoughts" are forms of matter and quantum physics reminds us that matter is in all forms. Physicians and modern day healers inform us that what we cannot see nutrition (but we know it is there) that what goes into our diet and is consumed is protecting us against disease by keeping a barrier, resisting it, or recovering from diagnosed diseases.

Fact: "What we put into our mind or feed our mind is the matter, "Thought" and it can be more powerful than any food, organic nutrient or drug." - Adam LaSerna

How we use this mental energy and control it is really up to you. I use it today as an athlete and Championship Coach and pass the knowledge and education how to use it to my student athletes. You don't have to wait to win a National Championship to discover it. Energy can be used for many purposes. A showman might use energy to limit pain from a physical stunt that would cause vital pain for a person not knowing how to manage the state of the mind and it's energy. We know a woman may give childbirth and not realize how to use states to manage the pain and does so automatically to manage the natural birth process.

CRITICAL MASS and PHYSIOLOGICAL AWARENESS:
" The Mind Interacting with the Pharmacy of the Human Body"
.
The mind and body responds to "critical mass" during crisis. Energy is increased several hundred times more than what drugs can provide an athlete. I knew this as an International Weightlifter with the Marines. I knew that I competed against world class athletes taking drugs, steroids from other countries. So, there were other ways for me to be just as strong or stronger than my drug induced competitors and often I would beat them. Some of them were even on my own team. I mastered The Mind Body Connection to recalled energy response for super human energy. The Mechanism is You.
.
Pain, we know reminds us we are hurt but when it can be controlled may be a solution to the use or overuse of pain medicine and other drugs. We now know that everyone has a quiet voice inside them that manipulates thought. Athletes have used this quiet voice in their heads to manage pain and discomfort without the use of drugs to overcome such physical obstacles such as a high jump bar or a baseball pitcher's opposition such as a very good batter.
.
Consciousness and Subconsciousness Awareness:

"You are one with the Body and Mind. Mediation is a key componant of Awareness and Reality. The misunderstanding of meditation is that it is used to Relax the body and mind in order to tune-out that what it ailling us or bothering us and hope to improve our well being by meditation. In fact it is the opposite. Meditation is for tuning into certain realities and those that can be a problem and through meditation and intrainment can be used to "Tune-In" and focus on these issues and problems so they can be solved. Freeing the mind and body of problems means solving them through meditation. Health issues will be solved through a combination of both mind-body human medicine and modern scientific manmade medicine."
